LAST DANCE
by: Michaelina I. Umnas
the moment we stand
and face once grand
I smiled at you
Thinking it’s the last
regret the romantics
final walk is an atonement
last dance, its etiquette
wore elegant dress as
attainment
those grandiose moment
turn over and hail as queen
this is my way
pass my reigning crown
exciting and sweating
as a sign of fulfillment
brand as most auspicious
moment
lead the way and hold my waist
sway as music flows
hold my hand as the wind blows
taunt and mesmerize the moment
memoirs to you, my last dance
